FPT Industrial – CES 2020
OBJECTIVES
To design a 20’ x 30’ booth for CES 2020. The client was looking to promote their technology through the use of musik (partnered with Giorgio Moroder) and incorporate a “listening” room so that people can hear the “preludio” sound of the engine. They recognize that a show floor is a very noisy place thus the need for sound damping.

FPT is new to CES. They are based in Torino, Italy. At CES 2020 they will present their Cursor X Power Source Concept.
Cursor X is FPT Industrial's Multi-power, Modular, Multi-application and Mindful 4.0 Power Source Concept, launched at Tech Day event held in Turin, Italy, end of November 2018. It represents a symbol of how FPT Industrial conceives innovation and reflects FPT Industrial’s product strategy vision. It is a future further “designed for Planet Earth”. The Concept was developed by Product Development jointly with the CNH Industrial Design Center to include both technical capabilities and functionality. Cursor X can be identified by 4 main features that, according to FPT Industrial’s vision will shape the architecture, logic and operational modes of a power unit of the future: Multi-power (pure electric, hybrid methane and Hydrogen Fuel Cell), Modular (easy assembly, vehicle integration, servicing and full scalability), Multi-application (designed for any kind of industrial vehicle or machine), and Mindful (equipped with processors and sensors and designed to have self-learning capability).

The 3-times Oscar winner, composed a new and original sound identity for the FPT Industrial innovative products.
Soon, the public will have the chance to see the legendary producer in action in his studio, introducing concepts and methodology he followed while creating and crafting the sound identity for the Brand. The first release of the collaboration is scheduled beginning of January @ CES 2020, when the Preludio (this will be the name of the sound) will be disclosed as signature welcome sound that will be soon integrated in the key-on experience of the most innovative FPT Industrial engines.
