Crisp Air

Captures the time when it’s not the spring yet, but one can feel the changes in the air. There is still snow here and there, morning frost, the sun is shining, but it's still cool.

Doodles and reference (frost on a hood of the car, dynamic (!) dirt on the door)

Chasing the Shadows

These mixed-media paintings which manifest the quiet energy and fragility of the moment. It is an exploration of form and textures, where minimal shapes combined with contrasting patterns and layers of tissue paper that create creases, folds and inspire tactile experiences.

Gifts Of The Desert

Gifts Of The Desert

“Majorelle Blue” is created after my visit to the museum of Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakesh. I tried incorporate the blue color or so called majorelle blue seen on the walls of the building and also in the traditional indigo dye coloured clothes of “blue men” which stains their skin.

“Gifts Of The Desert” inspired by my trip to Morocco, its warm sands and beautiful textures and colors. This is my abstract interpretation of the cactus fruit which is very popular in that area. This art piece combines flat surfaces with dimensional textures, color blocking with patterns. The texture casts beautiful shadows that move and grow with the light – sometimes they are long and deep and sometimes they disappear.
