Gifts Of The Desert
"Gifts Of The Desert" inspired by my trip to Morocco, its warm sands and beautiful textures and colors. This is my abstract interpretation of the cactus fruit which is very popular in that area. This art piece combines flat surfaces with dimensional textures, color blocking with patterns. The texture casts beautiful shadows that move and grow with the light – sometimes they are long and deep and sometimes they disappear.
“Gifts Of The Desert” by Olena Sydoruk painted using matte acrylic, gesso and coffee on a gallery-wrapped canvas stretched on 1.5” frame, finished with a few layers of matte varnish. The sides are finished. It ships UNFRAMED. The mounting wire attached on the back. Signed on the front and back. It can be displayed on its own or as a part of the gallery wall combined with other pieces.
