“Space to Breathe” by Olena Sydoruk is a minimal yet complex mixed-media painting that focuses on personal connection, stresses how important it is to have somewhere to ground and reconnect when things feel out of control.
The artist combines minimal shapes, subtle textures and pattern inviting the viewers to come closer and explore the piece in which they discover various elements not noticeable from the distance. At first glance, the canvas can appear quite flat, but as the light changes over the course of the day, the patterns and textures of layered tissue paper create creases, folds and unveil more of this textured surface and inspire tactile experiences.
It’s created on gallery-wrapped canvas stretched on 1.5” frame. The sides are finished. It ships UNFRAMED. The mounting wire attached to the back. Signed on the front and back. Finished with a top coat of matte varnish. It can be displayed on its own or as a part of the gallery wall combined with other pieces.
